First day of school upcoming for Greenfield Elementary

Greenfield Elementary will welcome all students in grades 1-4 on Wednesday, Aug. 13 for a full day of classes. Walkers are asked to report to school after 8:50 a.m. and before the start of school at 9 a.m. Students arriving at the proper time will report directly to their classrooms. No students shall be allowed on either playground before school, as no supervision will be provided. Any student who arrives before 8:50 a.m. must report to the McClain Cafetorium.

Adena selects MedFlight for critical care air transport

Adena Health System has announced it is enhancing critical care patient air transportation in the region by entering into an agreement with MedFlight. To ensure the fastest response time, MedFlight will base a helicopter in Ross County by fall 2014 to better serve the area; and to compliment two other MedFlight aircraft located in southern Ohio.
