The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:

A reading program used at Buckskin Elementary was highlighted by teachers at Monday’s school board meeting, held at the elementary school in South Salem.

Randy Sanders defeated Brandon Stratton in the 2024 primary election for Highland County sheriff by an unofficial count of 4,175 to 2,226, according to online results released early Wednesday morning by the Highland County Board of Elections.

A Peebles man was seriously injured Tuesday when his vehicle collided head-on with an Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser.
