After the horrendous start to begin the season, the Cincinnati Bengals have found a way to crawl back into contention. They now have a record of 3-3 and head into a bye week where they look to get healthy and get this offense clicking again. There is still a ton to improve on, but they have shown that they can play with anyone.

GREENFIELD — On one of the colder evenings of this fall so far, the Washington Blue Lions traveled to take on the McClain Tigers in a Frontier Athletic Conference football contest with the hosts posting a 49-25 victory.

Eyre tops field of 278 runners

There were 278 runners that toed the starting line Saturday and it was full of the best runners in the district and also Lancaster High School, which yielded the third best team in Division I last year. The favorite to win though was Whiteoak junior Landen Eyre, who entered the race undefeated in the Southeast District and as one of the premier runners in the state.

In a must-win game for Cincinnati against the Cardinals on the road Sunday, Ja’Marr Chase put the city on his back and had a historic performance to get this team back on track. Everything was clicking between No. 9 and No. 1 and you could tell that it was going to be a special game from the dynamic duo early in the game. Burrow was finally mobile enough to escape the pocket and it immediately led to an opening of the playbook.
