Greenfield’s school board meeting, held Monday at Buckskin Elementary, included positive reports from the school’s principal as well as recognition of members of the district’s transportation department.

This month, one of Greenfield’s iconic businesses, The Letter Shop, marks its 65th anniversary and the village of Greenfield recognized that milestone on Oct. 20.

Greenfield’s regular council meeting this week covered various topics including water projects, the possibility of a lodging tax, and the upcoming Madison Township levy that’s on the November ballot, to name a few.

The slate of candidates and issues is set for the general election in Highland County that will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7.
