Homeless Shelter seeking community help

0

The Highland County Homeless Shelter has been proudly serving the community for over 10 years. It continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community. The shelter is asking that you support the organization in 2016 with a monetary donation to its annual fundraising campaign.

Each year, the organization assists homeless individuals within the community and without donations from individuals like you, this would not be possible. Donations help sustain the organization and benefit the community which the shelter serves.

The Highland County Homeless Shelter is open 365 days a year. It can offer assistance and support for up to 28 men, women and children for a maximum of 90 days. It provides beds, food, and shelter, along with access to essential programs and services that enable homeless individuals to rebuild their confidence and their lives.

The shelter is happy to serve Highland County and surrounding areas and is proud to serve those less fortunate. There is hope. In order to meet its mission and provide services within the community, the shelter relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations, churches, and businesses for support.

Without the assistance of the community, the shelter would not be able to serve those in need within the community. The shelter asks that you make a commitment to support its annual appeal by making a monetary donation to the Highland County Homeless Shelter. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by permitting the organization to continue its work.
