Our Library Summer Reading Adventure is now history. We had 312 children, teens and adults signed up for a summer of fun. Kids received many end of summer prizes and there was an end of the summer drawing for teens and adults with many great prizes.
The prize winners for the new bikes, compliments of Adena Medical Center, were Cameron Snavely, Adelynn Lane and Charlotte Morehead. Thanks to all of our donors that helped make our summer an exciting one.
Some dates to keep in mind:
• Sept. 15 – Noon to 3 p.m., ACCEL Temporary Services Job Fair.
• Oct. 6 to Nov. 10 – Diabetes Self-Management Program – Presented by the Area Agency on Aging District 7, this program will be for six weeks on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please Preregister by Sept, 30 by calling 800-582-7277 ext. 247.
• Preschool Storytime – Tuesdays, 11 a.m. – Activities include stories, crafts and lots of fun.
