Hillsboro FFA food booth at fair

0

Every year at the Highland County Fair the Hillsboro FFA Chapter opens a food booth to sell milkshakes and food to the public. This year the FFA sold peanut butter, strawberry and vanilla and milkshakes, plus pork tenderloin, pulled pork, and sausage egg and cheese sandwiches. Different members throughout the day took different shifts in the food booth. The profit made from the FFA food booth helps pay for the members go to the national convention which is being held in Indiana this year. The food booth also helps with different things throughout the year such as Greenhand Night for freshman, and chapter meetings during school hours. Pictured working on the booth are Taylor Chaney, left, and Meni Price.
