The McClain FFA held a blood drive at McClain High School on Sept. 28. The FFA program teamed up with the American Red Cross to help make this event possible. There were 49 students and staff members that donated blood. While the donation process was happening there were individuals asking the donors why they decided to give. A few of the responses that were given included, “Every time I donate, I feel like someone’s hero” and “Every time I come in here I imagine a little kid on a bed and he needs my blood.” Pictured giving blood is teacher Chris Dodds.
