Hillsboro FFA places third

Several members of the Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently traveled to Peebles High School to compete in the sub-district parliamentary procedure contest. This contest is a Career Development Event (CDE) in which students run a mock meeting according to Robert’s Rules of Order. In this timed mock meeting, they are required to correctly state motions, debate them, and vote upon them. This year the Hillsboro FFA advanced team consisted of six members: Grant Crum, Lexey Hetzel, Jordan Williamson, Lana Grover, Regan Claycomb and Kirsten Harp. Joe Helterbrand also participated as an alternate. The team placed third in the contest.
