The Lynchburg Three Arts Club held its May 9 meeting at the home of president Colleen Mount, who called the meeting to order by having Ellen Pennington read the club collect.

The members answered roll call by telling their summer plans. The minutes given by secretary Doris Randolph and the treasurer’s report given by Becky Davidson were read and approved.

Officers were elected at this meeting and they are: president, Denise Kuntz; vice president, Doris Randolph; secretary, Colleen Mount; treasurer, Becky Davidson; publicity, Nancy Shaffer; cards, Nancy Lippert; and program committee, Ellen Pennington, Denise Kuntz and Doris Randolph.

The club held its annual birthday auction a little differently this year. Everyone brought a gift the same month and they were all auctioned off and the proceeds were given to the Lynchburg Food Pantry.

The hostess, Mount, served a delicious strawberries and angel food cake dessert.
