Following is a list of upcoming June events at the Leesburg Branch Library:
• Thursdays in June – Knit Together meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Bring whatever project you are working on and join in conversation and knitting. Beginners are welcome.
• Sparx (teen book club) will be taking the summer off and resume in September.
• Thursday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. – Cooking Caravan – Story Stew.
• Thursday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. – Bookin with Ronald McDonald.
• Thursday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. – Wonderful World of Bats.
• Thursday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m. — RRR (adult book discussion group).
• Thursday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. – Build a Better World! Find out how worms help do that.
• Thursday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. – March of the Penguins. Come see real live penguins.
During the Month of June the Leesburg Branch Library will be supporting the Red Cross Drive. For every three items donated, $1 will be deducted from your fines. All donations must be nonperishable, unopened, and unused. For more information, visit the library.
