Carrs will celebrate 50 years

Richard and Rita (Tissot) Carr will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2017. They were married on Aug. 6, 1967, at the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church. The couple has three children, Christa Carr, Jim (Kim) Carr and Holly (Michael) McLean. They also have three grandchildren, Maggie, Atlee and Lydia Carr. A reception will be held in their honor on Saturday, Aug. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Carr Farms warehouse (2655 Taylorsville Road). The couple requests no gifts please, only the honor of your presence.
