Hillsboro FFA meets up for discussion, games

On July 20, the Hillsboro FFA chapter held a meeting at Taylor Chaney’s house.

The total attendance for the the meeting was 35 members, including the 10 officers. During the meeting, the officers talked about the results of the corn hole tournament, important upcoming events, and getting ready to work the Hillsboro FFA booth at the Highland County Fair.

Following the meeting, the officers decided to put on a funny skit that gave the members something to break the ice and start the fun for the year.

After the skit, many games were held, including volleyball, “captains coming” and people to people. These games got the members to get up and bond with the people they didn’t know in the chapter.

To wrap up the night, the chapter participated in a water balloon toss, finding the bubble (bubble gum was hidden in whipped cream), a slip and slide and to wrap up the night, a bonfire with s’mores.

Brennen Priest said, “The meeting was a blast and all the activities were fun, but my favorite was sitting around the bonfire with the chapter.”
