The Highland County Poultry, Pigs and Lambs 4-H Club held its last business meeting of the year on Sunday, Aug. 13th at 2 p.m. at the Hamer Township House.

The adviser discussed the fair theme and how the club is going to decorate the 4-H booth. The adviser also went over the dates and times of when the club will watch the FCS and Jr. Fair Buildings. The club is scheduled to work the 4-H food booth on Tuesday, Sept. 5 from 7-10 p.m. All members and parents will need to sign up to work. The 4-H wristbands and swine cards were passed out to the members. The adviser then checked 4-H project books and signed off on them. The members then divided up into groups and practiced for the skillathon tests.

The meeting was adjourned and refreshments were served by Wesley Kelch and Rachel Rudy. The next meeting will be our end of year banquet on Saturday, Sept. 30.
