Pet of the Week

0

The Highland County Humane Society Pet of the Week is Goldie, a spayed 8-year-old golden lab. She loves to go on walks and does well on a leash. When you first meet her she will drop and roll over for a belly rub. If you have other dogs, Goldie must be fed by herself as she doesn’t like other dogs around while she is eating. However, she has made no attempt to bite a human hand that is in her feeding bowl. Goldie is a bit overweight, but is a very sweet dog. She has been in a position to see cats and has made no aggression toward them. If you can provide Goldie or any of the other dogs or cats a good forever home, contact the Humane Society at 9331 SR 124, Hillsboro. For more information, call 937-393-2110. The shelter is open six days a week from noon to 5 p.m. It is closed Wednesdays.
