Great Oaks Police Academy accepting recruits

0

Graduates of the Police Academy at Great Oaks Career Campuses are working in and running law enforcement agencies across southwestern Ohio. Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil is a 1983 graduate.

Great Oaks is now accepting applications to prepare the next generation of law officers. The 730-hour, seven-month evening training session begins January 3, but interested candidates must act now to ensure a spot in the class.

Graduates will be prepared for the Ohio Peace Officer Certification Exam.

The application process includes a meeting with Commander Michael Wright as well as an entrance test and background investigation, drug screen, and physical fitness test. For those accepted into the program, tuition is $6,195 plus uniforms. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Commander Wright at 513.612.5763 or [email protected], or go to http://adults.greatoaks.com/program/law-enforcement-police-academy/.
