Hillsboro FFA goes to the movies

0

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently treated 28 members to a movie at Star Cinemas and lunch at Wendy’s.

The members got to take off a half a day of school and viewed “A Dog’s Way Home” for their fruit sale incentive. In past years the members incentive for selling fruit was to have a drawing for a selection of prizes. This year the members decided to go and watch a movie in theaters for their incentive.

To be awarded the incentive, members had to participate in the chapter’s annual fruit sale fundraiser. The goal for each member was to sell more than $350 in fruit or sell to 12 different customers. While attending the movie each member was given a complimentary drink as well as a small popcorn. After viewing the movie, the chapter also treated its members to lunch at Wendy’s before returning to school.

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter would like to thank everyone who participated and contributed in the FFA Chapter’s annual fruit sale fundraiser.
