The Evangelical Christian Ladies (ECL) of the Church of Christ in Christian Union (CCCU) of Greenfield held its Nov. 18 meeting at the church fellowship building.

The ECL president, Dolly Newkirk, opened the meeting. Roger Newkirk prayed for the meeting and the food. Everyone enjoyed a menu of hot dogs, potato salad, deviled eggs, pizza, cheese, grapes, cheese spread, cinnamon rolls, cookies and pop.

Minerva Seitz, Katelyn Lewis, Beth Lewis, Linda Oiler, Dolly Newkirk, Joann Shrouts, Crystal Massie, Roger Newkirk, Dustin Yates and Esther Royse were present.

The secretary and treasurer’s reports were given. Old business was discussed.

For new business, the ECL is going to give monetary and cans of food donations to the food bank and help the Greenfield Lions Club for Christmas. Plans were made to get a new sign for the church. The ECL plans on going Christmas caroling at a rest home.

The Christmas program will be on Dec. 15. The theme is “Keep Christ in Christmas.” Those attending are asked to bring a $5 gift to be exchanged next month.

Dolly Newkirk dismissed the meeting.
