A pair of Wilmington College students from Hillsboro received awards at the college’s 35th annual Student Honors Convocation recently.

Cody W. Mathews a senior from Hillsboro, was the recipient of the History Academic Excellence Award in Humanities. Mathews, a 2010 graduate of the Hillsboro High School, is majoring in education and history.

Tiffany L. Barr a senior from Hillsboro, was the recipient of the Art Academic Excellence Award. Barr, a 2012 graduate of the Lynchburg-Clay Local Schools.

Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers), is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash location serves a large number of non-traditional students.
