Locals in WC Green Key Society

Wilmington College seniors Jennifer L. Wall of New Vienna, Caitlyn R. Lanier of Sardinia and Amber N. Boris of New Vienna were recently recognized for induction into the Green Key Society at the 35th annual Student Honors Convocation.

Wall is majoring in communication arts.

Lanier, a 2010 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, is majoring in education.

Boris, a graduate of East Clinton High School, is majoring in education.

Green Key is Wilmington College’s honor society founded in May 1951. It was organized to recognize superior scholarship by students from WC in the years following accreditation by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges in 1944.

Juniors and seniors become eligible for Green Key membership upon the completion of 75 or 90 semester hour, respectively, with grade-point averages of 3.75 and 3.50 respectively. Graduates, once eligible for membership, may be initiated at any time.

Wilmington College is a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers). The Blue Ash branch serves a large number of non-traditional students.
