Academic leaders from several area school districts gathered recently at the Region 14 Hopewell Center near Hillsboro to attend the What Great Leaders Do Differently workshop that identified specific qualities and practices that elevate great leaders above the rest and guided participants in how to immediately implement each of these practices into their schools.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Todd Whitaker, one of the nation’s leading authorities on staff motivation, teacher leadership, and principal effectiveness. Williams has written over 30 books including the national best seller “What Great Teachers Do Differently.” Other titles include: “Shifting the Monkey,” “10 Minute Inservice,” “The Ball,” “What Great Principals Do Differently” and “Motivating & Inspiring Teachers.”

This presentation was made possible by the collaborative partnership between the Southern Ohio ESC, Brown County ESC, and the Ohio University Leadership Project.
