Elks grant helps city

Hillsboro Code Enforcement Officer Phillip Lutton, left, and Hillsboro Elks Grant Coordinator Dan Pearce posed recently with the city’s new Mac Surface Pro. It will be used to log and follow up on code violations in the city. The Elks provided $750 for the Surface Pro from a community service grant provided by the Elks National Foundation.
