A card shower is being requested for Joe and Carolyn (Dickey) Wise, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21.
The Hillsboro residents were married Aug. 21, 1965 by Clarence Wamsley at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
They have two daughters, Lisa (Wise) Leeth and Laura (Wise) Saylor; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Joe is retired from the Highland County Sheriff’s Office and Carolyn is retired from Hillsboro Ford.
