Local residents Nicolas Beatty and Logan Bates have been named to the Ohio Northern University dean’s list for the fall semester 2015-16.

The dean’s list includes students who attain a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 grading system.

A sixth year pharmacy major, Beatty is the son of Timothy and Sherry Beatty, of Greenfield.

A first year pharmacy, Bates is son of Joy Bates, of Hillsboro, and Scott Bates, of Leesburg.

Ohio Northern University’s student-centered education combines the liberal arts with professional programs for more than 3,600 students in its five colleges: Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy and Law.
