We Love Hillsboro Family Fun Festival is Friday

The Hillsboro community is invited to the We Love Hillsboro Family Fun Festival hosted by the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church from 4-9 p.m. Friday, July 25.This free community event will include an inflatable obstacle course, children’s bounce house, carnival games and prizes, free food, drinks provided by Anna’s Army, multiple raffle drawings, and a dunk tank featuring local “celebrities.”In addition to the fun, games and food, there will be a free concert performed by Christian recording artist My Heart Remains.

 

HUBA First Friday event set for Aug. 1

Understanding God is close-up business

On our recent trip to the Northeast, our first stop was in Niagara Falls for a few days. As a couple, we had not visited the Falls since our honeymoon 41 years ago, so we were both looking forward to this time away and the revisiting of old memories. When we are out driving we have at least one window down and have the radio off.
