Strickland in Hillsboro for 6 p.m. Dem headquarters visit Sunday

Former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland will continue his “Ohio is Not for Sale” tour across the state with a stop at Democratic Party headquarters in Hillsboro at 6 p.m. today (Sunday, Oct. 30). The time of the appearance is a change from an earlier announced time of 4:30 p.m.

Strickland is challenging Republican incumbent Rob Portman in the race for Ohio’s U.S. Senate seat on the November ballot.

According to a media advisory, during the “Ohio is Not for Sale” tour, Strickland has already made stops in over 20 counties: Allen, Athens, Belmont, Butler, Clark, Cuyahoga, Delaware, Erie, Franklin, Jefferson, Lorain, Lucas, Marion, Miami, Montgomery, Muskingum, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Warren, Washington and Wood.

After an earlier stop Sunday in West Chester, Strickland will appear at 6 p.m. at a meet and greet with volunteers at Highland County Democratic Party headquarters located at 111 W. Main St. in Hillsboro.
