Greenfield residents arraigned in Fayette County

Two Greenfield residents were arraigned during the most recent session of a Fayette County grand jury.

Jaquan T. McCullough, 23, of Greenfield, was arraigned Oct. 31 on a charge of rape, a first-degree felony. McCullough was indicted in August by a Fayette County grand jury after he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a minor child on March 11, 2016.

James Vernon Brown Jr., 36, of Greenfield, appeared for arraignment Oct. 31 on seven counts of illegal processing of drug documents, fourth-degree felonies; seven counts of deception to obtain dangerous drugs, fifth-degree felonies; and seven counts of forgery, felonies of the fifth degree. Counsel was appointed and Brown is scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 12 for an informal pretrial hearing.
