Minor injuries in two-vehicle rollover crash

The occupants of two vehicles that crashed at Mad River Road and SR 138 on Wednesday escaped with minor injuries despite one vehicle coming to rest on its top and the other on its side.

According to Paint Creek Public Information Officer Branden Jackman, there was one person in each vehicle, and each of them were already out of their upturned vehicles once emergency crews arrived on the scene.

One person was transported to Highland District Hospital, Jackman said.

Along with Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District personnel, the Highland County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol also responded to the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the investigation, but provided no further information on Wednesday.
