SR 753 reopened in Highland County

Work for a series of culvert replacements on SR 753 in Highland County has been completed, and the route is now open to traffic.

Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance crews have been working to replace three culverts on SR 753, located between SR 506 and SR 41, at sites just north of Couch Road and between Couch Road and Eubanks Road.

Although the three-week project was scheduled for completion by the end of July, severe storms the weekend of July 18 caused flooding and washouts, which delayed the project one week.

Maintenance crews from the Highland County facility, however, have since completed the project, reopening the route to traffic at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
