Rolling out the Festival of the Bells

0

The 2017 Hillsboro Festival of the Bells kicked off Thursday evening with a parade through the center of town, featuring local fire departments, law enforcement, community businesses and organizations, and the Shriners Hillbilly Clan 8 – a motorcade of ramshackle hillbilly vehicles that seemed to be a crowd favorite. Christian music star Danny Gokey was slated to perform later on in the evening. Country singer William Michael Morgan is set to be Friday’s main act at 9 p.m., and Brett Young, a country pop star with several hit songs, will take the stage Saturday at 9 p.m.
