Ohio Speaker of the House Cliff Rosenberger will be the featured speaker at the Highland County Republican Family Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 23 at the Hillsboro VFW Pavilion beginning at 5 p.m.
Rosenberger, who represents Highland County in the state Legislature, was chosen speaker of the house in January. It should be of particular interest to hear Rosenberger’s view of the past six months and what might be expected in the coming months.
The picnic supper will be prepared by Highland County Commissioner Shane Wilkin and others. The cost is $7 per adult. Accompanying children are free.
The event is open to the public and reservations are not necessary.
