The Main Street Soapery opens in Leesburg

The village of Leesburg has announced the opening of a new business, The Main Street Soapery, located at 10 W. Main St. and owned by Bryant and Tristian Abt of Abt Family Farms.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at The Soapery on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The shop contains a wide variety of merchandise including goats milk soaps, lotions and soy candles from Abt Farms; Rainbow Stitches Spirit Wear; aprons and stuffed animals from Its A Stitch; custom wooden bowls and kitchen items; crocheted blankets by Red K. Ranch; dip, spread and dessert mixes by Countey Manor Mixes; embroidered dish towels and rag dolls by Norma Sew Cute; teething necklaces and key rings from Chunky Chews; custom signs and furniture from Sisters Primitive Treasures; ceramic mugs and tumblers by Cat Ceramics; and prints by artist Ronald D. Keith.

Hours for the store are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The business will be closed Wednesday and Sunday.
