Lynch returning to Paxton Theatre

BAINBRIDGE — The Paxton Theatre’s next Live ‘n’ Local Series offering brings the always entertaining Richard Lynch Band back to the historic Paxton Theatre stage on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.

Lynch, a country music singer/songwriter, has had a successful career spanning three decades. Born in Lebanon and raised on a 110-acre family farm, he traces his musical roots back to his father, Woody Lynch, who was an established local musician. At age 13. Richard had picked up his first guitar and by 18 had put together his first band. He has been successfully recording and touring ever since.

“If you enjoy the ‘80s era of traditional country from artists like George Strait, Randy Travis and Moe Bandy, then Richard Lynch will be right down your alley. Traditional country, but told from a more modern perspective..” The Paxton Theatre said in a news release, quoting SavingCountryMusic.com.

While Lynch resides in Waynesville, it seems he manages to keep one boot in Nashville as he co-hosts “Traditionally Lynch” on Renegade Radio Nashville and last year recorded and released duets with both Ronnie McDowell and Rhonda Vincent.

Doors and the box office open at 6 p.m. Saturday with the show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids age 3-12. Two and under are free. Tickets and additional information are available online at paxtontheatre.org, or by calling 740-634-3333.

The Paxton Theatre is located at 133 E. Main St., Bainbridge. For more information visit www.PaxtonTheatre.org.
