Area schools help with Operation Christmas Child

Students from Hillsboro and Fairfield high schools are shown loading hundreds of shoeboxes into trucks Monday morning for this year’s Operation Christmas Child campaign. Hillsboro’s First Methodist Church was the central collection point for the organization’s local five-county region. Shipments of shoe boxes filled with goodies arrived throughout the day from sch00ls in Blanchester, West Union, Washington Court House, Eastern Brown, Greenfield and Wilmington. Helping with the loading from Hillsboro High School were Zane Adams, Jake Beverly, Kirsten Harp, Claire Wilken, Grant Crum, Hailey Hughes, Jordan Williamson and Jenna Green. Providing elbow-grease from Fairfield Local High School were Rachel Schuler, Zack Paul, Dale Back, Mackenzie Sluss, Nick Evans, Conner Shoemaker and Cameron Travis.
