Members of the Highland County Honor Guard and VFW Post 9094 in Hillsboro participated Saturday in the placing of a holiday wreath at the Highland County Veterans Memorial. The ceremony, which included a prayer and a tribute to the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served in the armed forces of the United States, took place at noon on Saturday at the memorial on the grounds of the Highland County Court House.
