Local girl donates artwork to Hillsboro VFW

Last fall, Isabella O’ Madden entered her original artwork in the VFW’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art contest and won first place in the local competition. She later was the first place winner of the District 4 Auxiliary of Ohio competition, besting artistic creations in the district’s 12 counties. O’ Madden presented her artwork to VFW Post 9094 Friday evening to be placed alonside the other patriotic creations that hang in the VFW’s dining hall.
