3rd indictment in 3 months

A Greenfield man released from prison in recent months and currently in violation of his parole has been indicted by the February session of a Highland County grand jury, his third time being indicted on felony charges since November.

According to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, Jody Lee Watson Jr., 30, Greenfield, was released from prison in November of last year and is currently listed as a violator at large.

Watson was indicted on Tuesday for fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine. Last month he was indicted for failing to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, a third-degree felony. In November, he was indicted on third-degree felony illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.

According to court records, the November and January indictments have yet to be served.

Watson was convicted of fourth-degree felony unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2007, according to court records, and at that time was classified as a sexually-oriented offender.

Watson was also convicted in 2011 of failing to register as a registered sex offender and sentenced to eight months in prison, court records show.

The following were also indicted on Tuesday:

• Michael S. Blakeman, 35, Piketon, charged with violating a protection order, a third-degree felony; and fourth-degree felony domestic violence;

• Albert D. Cox Jr., 43, Bainbridge, charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine;

• Shawn Parr, 33, Greenfield, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of marijuana;

• William Throckmorton, 27, Greenfield, charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony;

• Lindsai J. Camp, 29, Hillsboro, charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs;

• David Dawson, 39, New Vienna, charged with third-degree felony gross sexual imposition;

• Scott W. Bentley Jr., 49, Hillsboro, charged with three counts of fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine; three counts of fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine; two counts of fifth-degree felony trafficking in heroin; and two counts of fifth-degree felony heroin possession;

• Rachelle Marie Huff, 37, Peebles, charged with fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine; fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of methamphetamine; two counts of fifth-degree felony trafficking in heroin; and two counts of fifth-degree felony heroin possession.
