The DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award has a long heritage of recognizing worthy students. Since it was first presented by the DEKALB brand in 1947, more than 150,000 high school seniors from across the United States have been honored for their commitment to agriculture.
The DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award recognizes and encourages excellence in three areas: scholarship, leadership, and agricultural work experience
In addition, the award helps identify role models for younger students, showcases students to their local community and helps focus attention on the talented youth pursuing a future in agriculture.
The 2014 Dekalb Award went to Cheyanne Miller, who served as the 2013-14 Chapter FFA president.
