Hillsboro FFA attends Farm Science Review

0

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently went to the Farm Science Review. This is a trip the chapter takes every year and is open to all freshman and seniors.

The members had the opportunity to look at farm machinery, field demonstrations, new farming technology, college booths, and much more. The FFA members also had a chance to meet some of the state FFA officers and talk to them about their personal chapters.

Every year the chapter has its members keep in mind what they liked about the Farm Science Review and what all they learned. A lot of the members took a big interest in the new farming machinery and the technology updates.

There are also small stores around where they could shop for anything they wanted such as hats, work gloves, or boots. There were plenty of booths where the members could enter in for drawings such as Peters Photography. The Titan Tire’s second annual charity tire auction raised $29,000 for Ohio FFA students.

This field trip was a huge success and all the members had a great time.
