Heather Cox breaks single game scoring record with 36

It was another historic night for Heather Cox of the Fairfield girls basketball team on Thursday night. Cox scored 36 points in a make up game against Whiteoak, breaking Fairfield’s single game girls scoring record of 35. She also had 21 rebounds, giving her another double double for the year.


Kaitlin Evans was one point short of having a double double herself with nine points and 12 rebounds.


Fairfield is now 10-13 with a make up game with Ripley Friday night.
