The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Sept. 9

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Nathaniel Gregory, of Piketon, was cited for expired plates.

INCIDENTS

At 11:26 a.m. the police department responded to Hank and Bills for a report of theft.

At 7:06 p.m. the police department responded to Warren Furniture for a report of theft

ACCIDENT

At 9:40 p.m. the police department responded to Taco Bell for a crash. Abby L. Thompson of Hillsboro was backing out of a parking space and struck the vehicle parked in a parking space next to her causing minor damage. There were no injuries.

At 9:51 p.m. the police department responded to North High Street and Harry Sauner Road for a two-car crash. Robert Bieler, of Hillsboro, was northbound on North High Street and made a right turn into a business while Kevin Dotts, of South Point, was eastbound on Harry Sauner Rd and proceeded through the same intersection causing Bieler’s vehicle to strike Dotts’ vehicle. Due to conflicting witness statements, neither party was cited. There were no reported injuries.

Sept. 10

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Melissa A. Trace, 42, of Blanchester, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Gina L. Bowens, 40, of Peebles, was arrested on a warrant.

ACCIDENTS

At 2:03 p.m., the police department responded to Walgreens for a two-car crash. Nathan Fryman of Leesburg was backing out of a parking space and failed to see a vehicle driven by Kimberly Morgan, who was parked behind him, causing Fryman to hit the vehicle causing minor damage. No injuries were reported.

At 9:30 p.m., the police department responded to Walmart for a report of a two-car crash. Christina Wagner of Hillsboro was backing out of a parking space when she failed to see a vehicle driven by Richard Scott Brannan of Hillsboro traveling behind her, causing her to back into the vehicle. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.

Sept. 11

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Lacie Marie Evans, 20, of Hillsbor,o was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
