The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Oct. 8

INCIDENT

The police department responded to a call of a domestic dispute on South Elm Street. Upon arrival, Cameron McConehea, 19, of Hillsboro, was found to be yelling, cursing and being disorderly. McConehea refused to stop after being told to which led to his arrest for persistent disorderly conduct.

Oct. 9

ACCIDENT

The police department responded to the area East Main Street and Bowers Avenue for a report of a two-car crash. Richard Wittle, of Hillsboro, was driving westbound, stopped to turn left into a gas station, and was waiting in traffic before turning while Jody Walters, of Midland, was also traveling westbound in her vehicle and struck the rear end of Wittle’s vehicle. Walters was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Oct. 10

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Tyler Everhart, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to maintain control.

INCIDENT

The police department received a call of a male subject that appeared to be under the influence of something and acting very erratically at a business in the 200 block of West Main Street. Upon further investigation, the suspect, Jamie Fogle, 26, of Hillsboro, was found to be in possession of drug abuse instruments. Fogle was arrested and transported to the Highland County Jail.
