The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

May 1

ACCIDENT

The police department investigated a crash on North West Street near the intersection of Chariss Avenue. Annette Baker, 46, of Hillsboro, was stopped in southbound traffic when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Trent Swisher, 18, of Leesburg, who was southbound and unable to stop in time to avoid hitting Baker’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Swisher was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

David Ballein, 52, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Ashley Crawford, 29, of West Union, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

Guy Myers, 37, of Greenfield, was arrested on a failure to appear bench warrant.

May 3

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Kyle Hall, 22, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to display.

Michelle Sions, 37, of Hillsboro, was arrested for criminal trespassing and theft.

Steven Shorten, 28, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

Tommy Lawwill, 25, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Rebecca Lowe, 53, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to maintain control.

Brandon Curtis, 21, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Rodney Ferguson, 56, of Hillsboro, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Trenton Zumwalde, 21, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Duane Blackburn, 80, of Hillsboro, was cited for OVI and failure to yield.

Foryst Rios, 22, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

Chelsea Boone, 27, of Hillsboro, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
