The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

July 10

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Michael Williams, 28, Mowrystown, arrested for theft and on a bench warrant.

James Groves, 43, Hillsboro, issued a citation for driving under suspension.

July 11

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Johnny Groves, 32, Cincinnati, arrested for menacing.

July 12

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

David Swisshelm, 37, Hillsboro, was arrested for criminal trespassing.

Kevin Morris, 40, Hillsboro, arrested on a bench warrant Nathan.

Fowler, 20, Xenia, arrested on a bench warrant.

INCIDENT

At 9:41 a.m., the police department responded to the 700 block of North West Street to investigate a report of vandalism. It was found that someone had keyed the property owner’s vehicle and walked on the hood, causing damage.

ACCIDENT

At 3:57 p.m., the police department responded to a private property traffic crash at a business in the 1400 block of North High Street. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Jeremy Bass, 34, of Hillsboro, the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the traffic crash, had drug paraphernalia in his possession. Bass was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Highland County Jail.
