The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 5

INCIDENTS

At 8:33 a.m., the police department responded to a business in the 600 block of Harry Sauner Road after receiving a call reporting a theft of money from an inside office.

At 9:51 a.m., the police department responded to a residence in the 400 block of North East Street after a vehicle being reported stolen. A report was taken.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Rebecca Chambers, 46, of Peebles, citation for assured clear distance ahead.

Micah B. Covault, 42, of Hillsboro, theft without consent

A 16-year-old Hillsboro was male was charged with truancy.

A 15-year-old Hillsboro was male was charged with truancy.

A 16-year-old Hillsboro was female was charged with truancy.

A 16-year-old Hillsboro was female was charged with truancy.

A 15-year-old Hillsboro was male was charged with truancy.

A 13-year-old Hillsboro was male was charged with truancy.

A 17-year-old Hillsboro was female was charged with truancy.

Nov. 7

INCIDENT

At 6:47 p.m., the police department was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of East Lilley Avenue in reference to an overdosed female. Upon arrival, the female was laying in the bathroom and was unresponsive. The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District treated the female, she became conscious and was transported to Highland District Hospital.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Merion Smith, 51, of Hillsboro, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Jason Winner, 68, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to yield.
