The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Nov. 20

ARRESTS

Michael E. Bartlett, 45, of Martinsville, for failure to comply with probation.

Brent A. Brewer, 28, of Hillsboro, for failure to appear.

Joshua Nevil, 26, of Seaman, for expired tags and speed.

Dustin Vauhn, 33, of Seaman, for speed.

Ethan Martin, 25, of Cincinnati, for speed.

Heike Steward, 43, of Hillsboro, for speed.

INCIDENT

On Nov. 20, an officer with the police department observed Michael Bartlett at a business in the 600 block of South High Street. Bartlett had a warrant out of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. Bartlett was arrested and illegal drugs were found on his person. He was transported to the county line and given to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.

On Nov. 10, the police department responded to CVS Pharmacy to take a report of a male and female attempting to get a prescription refilled on a deceased person. Nov. 22

INCIDENT

On Nov. 22 at 7:28 a.m. the police department received a report of a theft from a vehicle located in the 7000 block of Pea Ridge Road.

ACCIDENT

On Nov. 22 at 8:37 a.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 300 block of South Elm Street. A vehicle registered to Barry Pendell of Lynchburg was parked on the side of the roadway. Dianna L. Bailey, of Hillsboro, was driving southbound and stuck the parked car. Bailey was cited for failure to maintain control.
