Immunization clinic

There will be a clinic for immunizations only from 1-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 at the Highland County Health Department, 1487 N. High St., Suite 400, Hillsboro.

Lynchburg Lions Club candy

The Lynchburg Lions Club is selling bulk candy through December during regular business hours at Southern Hills Community Bank and Beechstreet Candleworks in Lynchburg. Fifteen different varieties are on sale.

Care-A-Van

The Care-A-Van Health Assessment Clinic, a cooperative service brought to you by the Highland County Health Department and Highland District Hospital, will visit the parking lot across from the Senior Citizen Center in Hillsboro from 9 a.m. to noon and the Kmart parking lot in Hillsboro from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15.

Mammogram van at The Laurels

The St. Elizabeth Hospital Mobile Mammography Van will be at The Laurels of Hillsboro from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15. Call 859-655-7400 to make an appointment. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Hillsboro school board meeting

The Hillsboro City School Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the board office, 39 Willettsville Pike.

The board’s finance committee will meet at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14 in the treasurer’s office, 39 Willettsville Pike.

Republican Debate Watch Party

The Highland County Republican Party invites any interested person to join the Debate Watch Party on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Republican Headquarters, 200 W. Main St., Hillsboro. The first debate begins at 7 p.m. followed by the second debate at 9 p.m. This is an opportunity to have fun, talk about the issues that matter most to you, and enjoy light refreshments.

Christmas concert in Greenfield

A Christmas concert by The Lore Family will be held at Greenfield’s Chapel of Hope, 12986 SR 41 North, on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Finger foods will be served following the service.

Prospect Christmas program

The annual Prospect Christmas program will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20. Everyone is invited to celebrate with the church during a time of readings, music and a children’s program. There will be a time of refreshments and fellowship after the program.

Christmas dinner for the needy

St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield will offer free Christmas dinners to those in need on Christmas Day from noon to 2 p.m. Dinners can be picked up at the church at 218 S.
