The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

Jan. 22

On Thursday, Jan. 7 at approximately 11:26 a.m. the police department responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of North High Streetand Fenner Avenue. John Duncan, 56, of Hillsboro, was traveling north on North High Street near the intersection of Fenner Avenue and slowed for traffic. Whitney Britain, 19, of New Vienna, failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of Duncan’s vehicle. Britain was cited failure to maintain an for assured clear distance ahead.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jerry L. Beatty, 48, Greenfield, was arrested for criminal trespass.

Joseph C. Rackley, 35, of Bainbridge. was arrested for failure to appear.
