The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

March 14

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Chase Williamson, 19, of Hillsboro, citation reckless operation on private property.

Mary Music, 83, of Hillsboro, citation for failure to yield when turning left.

Tristan Skyler, 20, of Hillsboro, unlawful purchase of Sudafed.

Guillermo Victor Bentancur, 45, of Hillsboro, citation for disorderly conduct.

Frank Bryant Jr., 28, of Hillsboro, citations for disorderly conduct and assault.

March 15

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Jennifer Kuhn, 25, of Leesburg, was cited for failure to display current tags.

James Perkins, 19, of Hillsboro, was cited for driving under suspension.

Jerry Beatty, 48, of Greenfield, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear out of Hillsboro Municipal Court.

Thomas Keaton, 45, of Cynthiana, was arrested for unlawful purchase of pseudoephedrine.

Brenda Kirk, 45, of Sinking Spring, was arrested for attempt to commit illegal pseudoephedrine purchase.

Jessica Morris, 28, of Hillsboro, was cited on Feb. 6 for OMVI, left of center and a seat belt violation.

March 16

ACCIDENTS

At 7:13 a.m., Vernon Kelley, 19, of Hillsboro, stated that he was stopped at the stop sign northbound on North West Street and was going straight through the intersection at Beech Street. A 16-year-old Hillsboro female advised that she was southbound on North West Street, stopped at the stop sign and was making a left turn onto Beech Street. Both subjects’ vehicles collided in the intersection. No injuries were reported. Moderate damage was received by both vehicles. No citations were issued. Officers advised that there were no known outside witnesses to the accident.

At 7:24 a.m., Kristina Adams, 33, of Hillsboro, was stopped in traffic for another vehicle that had stopped. A 17-year-old Hillsboro male juvenile advised that he was distracted, his foot came off the brake and he hit the rear of Adams’ 2006 Pontiac. No injuries were reported. Moderate damage was received. The juvenile was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

At 3:16 p.m., an unknown driver was traveling on North High Street behind Tyler Knisley, 22, of Mt Orab. Knisley had stopped for the traffic light at North High Street and Hobart Drive. The unknown driver failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of Knisley’s 2007 Ford F250 truck. The unknown driver fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The truck received moderate damage.

At 5:19 p.m., a 16-year-old female driver from Hillsboro was northbound on North High Street in the 700 block. Fred Hensley, 48, of Hillsboro, had stopped in traffic. The 16-year-old female failed to see Hensley’s vehicle stopped in traffic and struck the rear of his 2000 Jeep. No injuries were reported. Moderate damage was received on both vehicles. The 16-year-old female was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
