The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following information:

On May 11, 2016 at 5:58 p.m. the police department responded to a parking complaint in the 900 block of North High Street. Upon officer arrival it was found that a vehicle was parked in the area of complaint, and had been for several months. The vehicle was marked for 72-hour removal on May 11, 2016 at 6:14 p.m. On May 12, 2016 7 p.m. the vehicle was removed from the area.

On May 13, 2016 at 7:23 p.m. the police department responded to a report of a theft at Wal-Mart. After an officer investigation, a female identified as Angelia Mullis, 24, of Corbin, Ky. was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, criminal trespass, and theft without consent.

On May 15, 2016 at 3:43 p.m the police department responded to a reported theft in the 500 block of Harry Sauner Road. Upon officer arrival two females were being detained. A bag had been recovered which contained concealed merchandise. The females were identified as a Nicole Hauptman, 27, of Xenia, and a Karissa M. Cowdrey, 21, of Hillsboro. Hauptman and Cowdrey were arrested and transported to the Highland County Justice Center. Both are being charged with theft without consent.

Robert Love, 36, of Jeffersonville, theft.

Cory Emmanuel Rhoades, 30, of Leesburg, failure to appear bench warrant.

Tyler James Burnett, 22, of New Vienna, passing bad checks.

Shawn Dunn, 44, of Hillsboro, public indecency.
